Maybe you have never attended a church service or it has been awhile. We were new once and remember what it's like, so below is some helpful info just for you, knowing it's easier to venture into a new place when you know what to expect.

Worship
We strive to provide you with a comfortable and friendly atmosphere where your spiritual needs will be met. We strongly emphasize the teaching of the word of God verse by verse that we may "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."


Sunday Mornings
The pastor dresses conservatively, but you'll see people dressed in all styles—from jeans to business suits.
Calvary offers classic worship that features traditional hymns and contemporary singing. Our powerpoint presentation enables everyone to be on the "same page" during the service. 
The service lasts about one hour and we don't expect our visitors to give therefore we don't pass an offering plate but have placed an offering chest in the foyer.


Sunday School
We have turned to a new way of looking at Sunday School. It's called D6. A D6 Church equips dads and moms to be spiritual leaders in the home.

The pastor cannot do it alone. The Sunday School and small group teachers are only with their students about one hour a week. What about the other 167 hours a week? 2 Timothy 2:2 reminds us that we are to invest in trustworthy men and women who can reproduce their faith in others. That’s exactly what Deuteronomy 6:5-7 is all about! 
Bringing Biblical Balance to an Unbalanced World
We recognize the biblical importance of parents being involved with the spiritual development of teenagers and children. The influences of the world come at them in digital, electronic, printed, and many other very attractive manners. We must exert a biblical influence on their lives more than just a few hours a week.
